European Escapade - Finland [Tampere and Helsinki]

Tampere Finland
Tampere is a city in southern Finland. It is the most populous inland city in any of the Nordic countries. The city has a population of 217,767, growing to 313 058 people in the urban area and over 340,000 in the metropolitan area.


Tampere Orthodox Church
is an autonomous Orthodox archdiocese of the Patriarchate of Constantinople. The Church has a legal position as a national church in the country, along with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland.


Experience "Autumn in Tampere" 
In autumn the daily mean temperature remains below 10°C. Autumn begins around the last week of August in northern Finland and about one month later in southwestern Finland. The growing season ends in autumn when the mean daily temperature drops below 5°C. This occurs around the last week of September in northern Finland and in late October or early November in southwestern Finland.
